Arthur Ittermann was baptized at the Rosenfeld Baptist Church and leftfrom there to study for the ministry at the North American BaptistSeminary in Rochester, New York. After receiving his Bachelor of Theology degree he pastored midwestern Baptist churches in the NorthAmerican Baptist Conference. He received his Doctor of Theology degreeafter studying at the Central Baptist Seminary in Kansas City, Kansas andwas then called into service at Conference head office. In 1957 he became a professor at the Tennessee Temple Baptist University inChatanooga, during which time he also had many speaking engagements insurrounding churches. He retired from Temple in 1980.
